Hey there! Welcome to our presentation devlog.
We are Ratnip Games, three unstable college students developing our first ever videogame.
The game can be described as a puzzle platformer game that challenges the traditional perception of gravity in 2D games, offering new ways of exploration and resolution of puzzles in which the player controls a character who can change the direction of gravity to overcome obstacles and reach its goal. Here you can see the very first (and rough) sketch of the game:
So far, we have been getting familiar with Godot (the game engine we will be using) by playing aroung with some toolkits. Here's a sneak peek of what we've done:
We've also gather some assets that caught our attention in order to decide the theme we want our game to have, and discussed the possible ways we could design the game and its levels to make it fun and also make good use of the gravity component.
